AMRT Certification- Open to all Restoration Contractors
The Applied Microbial Remediation Technician (AMRT) course will be held on January 9-12, 2012 at Alpine Cleaning and Restoration Specialists. Rachel L. Adams, Indoor Environmental Management, will be the instructor. Cost is $995, price includes manual and lunches. Make checks payable to Alpine Cleaning and Restoration. Register by December 31, 2011 for a discounted price of $945. Test fee is $150 paid directly to the IICRC at the end of the course. (NFIP) National Flood Insurance Program (Course # 26398; Hours: 3 Classroom Flood)
This course explains the essentials of flood insurance based on the standards set by the Federal Emergency Management Agency. It opens with the background and history of the National Flood Insurance Program, along flood insurance statistics and definitions. It then explains the NFIP’s three main components (flood hazard mapping, floodplain management, and flood insurance), with emphasis on each component’s impact on the insurance professional. The course concludes with detailed descriptions of the various flood insurance policies, building and contents eligibility, claims coverages, and FEMA’s Top 10 Facts Every Insurance Agent Needs to Know about the NFIP. This course provides agents who wish to sell flood policies a basic understanding of the National Flood Insurance Program and their role in the flood insurance process.
The H05 Insurance Policy: Property Inclusions (Course # 26399; Hours: 3 Classroom)
During this course, we will: 1. Define common terms found in the HO5 Insurance Policy 2. Explain the 4 types of property coverages detailed in the HO5 Insurance Policy 3. Explain the various “Additional Coverages” detailed in the HO5 Insurance Policy
